What’s required (for us as NZ Inc) to own our story

This hypothesis is put forward on the presumption that there is a market premium for products from a responsible pastoralism base.

It is also predicated around the notion that farmers would be willing to be part of a story and pay for the quantified knowledge – the method. This would link the how with the what.

This needs to be tested, and it is envisaged that this would be carried out as part of the discussion.

However, under an NZ Inc banner, the following actions would need to take place. Following the first action, the others wouldn’t necessarily need to be sequential

1. Incorporate pasture Harmonies (as the owner of the brand/story/name)

2. Produce a one page template of what being a pasture Harmonies farmer/member would mean (particularly aimed at consumers). Among other things, but probably most important from the story’s point of view would be that people can VISIT – this being the ultimate validation.

3. Begin a process to invite farmers, marketers, New Zealand and the world to be shared participants in the pasture Harmonies story. At its heart, we are testing that, ‘by owning the idea, we are the ideal’.
